Shoes for girls

It's a major pain in the arse when you buy a pair of shoes and they don't fit who they were intended for...
I hate that and you must too, it gets right on my pip!
I have a Limhwa To You Sara who's feet are just ridiculously small, and a DIM Bellosse who has huge clown feet at a whopping 7.4 cms!!! They are both currently shoeless...
For a few years now i have been toying with making my own shoes, the book i wanted has been out of print for many years...But 2 weeks ago I found it!!!

So I will sit and digest everything I can, and hopefully this will be a duck to water type thing or a complete disaster and I will be selling the book lol...Watch this space!!!

Two New Girls

It seems a right old royal pain to have a birthday at Christmas, but it allows me to buy the dolls I want by pooling all my birthday and Christmas gift money together...I don't think I would be any good at any other time of year, so I am pleased I can do this

My Birthday gifts got me these 2 beauties....My husband bought me my beautiful Souldoll Yeon Bee...I had been hankering after this girls since she was released...So I was lucky enough to get her....Her eyes are Imperial Jade and Fairy Glen (available from shop) and I handmade her outfit including stockings and headband

Then came this little beauty! She is a Nabiya grey elf by Garden of Dolls, I stripped her down and repainted her as I was not too keen on the default faceup..It was a little too harsh for my tastes...These dolls remind me so much of Fairyland Dolls...Her name is Rupee

Shiny New Design

After what seemed a 100 years, I have managed to stumble through putting a new layout on my blog...I love the old shabby postcard look, and I think it looks so pretty!
So lets see....Well I wanted to do so much with a few weeks off, but a broken down fridge freezer put paid to that...As it is Easter we have been without one for 5 days, and you never miss anything until it is gone...Luckily we have fantastic neighbours and our frozen food is now in their freezer...I don't know what the heck we would have done without them!
Thank you Anne & Bob!

So i have a few newbies in the house...I should really stop collecting, and after 28 dolls (or 28 Dolls later) as my husband calls it I think it's an addiction that i can't seem to stop

I was given a Hujoo Freya in white as one of my birthday gifts, and I was pleasantly surprised...I thought being ABS plastic it would be a pain to paint, but I couldn't have been more wrong...If anyone wants to get into the hobby and doesn't want to pay too much out or steer clear on recasts, then these little Hujoo creations are amazing value for money...This cat was actually designed by the lovely gentleman who runs Junkyspot     I currently have a little grey one to paint, but here is Tuppence, she is a cutie with attitude!

Life takes over

I have to say i feel awful i have not updated since last year....there has been illness and loss in my life since last year, and it has been difficult to keep up with things in general...We have lost another of our fur babies, and not a great time as it was Christmas Eve..So the festive period and my birthday was pretty much cancelled for 2013...It is never a good time to lose a family member at any time of year, but Christmas was particularly hard...
I have been trying to find my feet this year and finally feel better about things, with a little time to update my blog...
So my beautiful boy Murron will be here in picture form as it's still pretty hard to think he is gone...He was nearly 18 and we miss him every day
